Toronto Jewish Film Festival
The Rhapsody had its World Premiere at the TJFF on Wednesday June 15, 2022.
The Toronto Jewish Film Festival is one of the largest Jewish Film Festivals in the world, with over 100 screenings. Through the presentation of international and Canadian films, the Festival aims to be both a window to and a mirror of Jewish culture. The Festival undertakes to show films for their contemporary, popular value, and for their ability to address the subject of Jewish identity.
Jewish International Film Festival
The Rhapsody had 15 screenings in theatres across Australia between October - November 2022.
Building on the long and proud 30-year history of Jewish film festivals in Australia, JIFF - the Jewish International Film Festival - is the home of the most comprehensive range of Jewish-themed and Israeli films in Australia. JIFF screens annually in cinemas all across Australia, welcoming audiences of over 55,000 each year.
Hong Kong Jewish Film Festival
The Rhapsody received the audience award for Best Documentary. The overall audience grade was 10/10 - the first time this has happened in 23 years!
Founded in 2000, the Festival runs for two weeks showcasing a wide range of feature films, documentaries and shorts, which reflect and offer interesting and unique views into the diversity of Jewish and Israeli life and culture. The Festival's mission is to celebrate, educate, enlighten and entertain through movies and bring Jewish culture to this corner of Asia.
